Any one make their own front fiber optic sight?
I can barely see the white dot on the front sight. I plan on upgrading it in the future but not right now I was wondering if anyone tried drilling out the front sight and insert a fiber optic rod. It's pretty simple to do as long as you don't "F" it up.
I tried searching and didn't find anything.

I don't recall seeing any done here, but there's a good write up on KTOG:

We do have the "Poor man's gold bead front sight (http://www.kahrtalk.com/showthread.php?t=10449)" and OldLincoln's "Jewel (http://www.kahrtalk.com/showpost.php?p=100740&postcount=9)"

Greg

drilled from the front. I used a mill at work, no, I'm not a machinist but there's one who's really helpful.
