That depends...
Do you want an expensive .45 now or a budget friendly .45 later?
I know, not really much help... but really, if it's not an immediate need, I'd wait.

Get a CW and cut down the handle, get some shorter mags, and enjoy the better accuracy with the longer barrel!

From what I've heard, the CM45 will likely not be released until late this year, if that makes a difference...

From personal experience, cw45 is a sweet shooter, accurate and easy to handle.
pm45 is just as sweet, a little easier to conceal being slightly smaller grip, the thing i noticed the most was the pm was louder and had a bigger muzzle flash (for night time).
Looking to get a p45 just for comparison. Will i have to get a cm too?

Speer Gold Dot Short Barrel ammo will cure the muzzle flash.
IMO, if you're going to spend the extra money for the PM45, get the DLC black finish. You can also get factory night sights on the PM. But if you are satisfied with the brushed SS finish and regular sights, it's kind of a waste to get the PM45; better to wait for the CM45.

yea i agree on the short barrel ammo idea, it was just a bit of a surprise between the cw45 and pm45. The pm45 was bought used from a member here, new front sight from dawson is on the way, and i`ll flip the rear like i did on the cw to make it 3 dot.

I think I am going to wait on the CM45. Even if it takes awhile. In the meantime, If I happen upon a lever action in .357 or .44 magnum, I'll get that and mark it off my list.

its never a waste to get a PM over a cm. It is more costly but IMO not a waste. It is not like buying a cup of coffee for $10 and drinking it and 10 minutesl ater u have nuttin to show for it. U buy a kahr, u normally are not looking to peddle it or resell it.either one if u buy new and sell used, it will bring less. just sayin
If u can see fit to spend the difference, check around get the best price and go for it. Why wait on a new intro that normally takes 3-6 months even from the day of introduction to hit the shelves. Now that bein said if a PM45 and a cm45 would be sitting in the dealer show case and the price is $200 less then u gotta maybe think about it. right now it is speucalition even on the cm45, which I do feel will be here SOMETIME..:Amflag2:

Wow, can't believe we didn't get a diatribe about the 45 being the last train to Clarksville, slow enough to shoot and catch with a catchers mitt.
