Looks like they just received a big S&B shipment. That's about all they have - in a lot of different calibers. I ordered 10 boxes also. I did get a UPS shipping confirmation today but as of yet no movement on the package (says "billing information received"). Their 45 ACP is also a good deal ($18 and change per box).

Thanks again. I try to post info like that. I have an order of that at Sportsman's Guide and their expected date slipped from April 16 to December 30, and somewhere along the way it varied to the end of April. I have no idea when and if. I can always sell it if I get too much.:) I also have an order through SPG for UMC .380 as well, but it's expected in June.
Now it's a race to see if I get the ammo or the Wolff springs for the mags first. With both, it will be range time. I sure hope I can get that P380 to working 100%. I feel like there's something going on with the follower and /or spring maybe catching on the magazine retention slot. It sure seems like the nose of the bullet takes a dive for some reason and catches on the bottom of the feed ramp. We'll see.

Dang! Bawanna', you made me look to see if there was too much info on that part of my order that I posted!:D
Today I carried my PM45 in the Minituck with my suspenders under my Polo. That works pretty well, but I need to see if a quick wash will make that easier on my skin. That could be a problem as it gets hotter here. I hope to get my P380 reliable for CCW. It's tiny and no trouble at all. I haven't tried it in the Minituck, yet. I've been wearing the UM with the P380 around the house and the yard.

I have to buy as much ammo as possible for when TSHTF. Bullets will be worth more than dollars... hell, they are now... for some ammo. Well, I still had a couple of FTFs with 100 S&B and 6 BB fired. It seems like it happens when I really rapid fire. I noticed one slight hesitation in the slide going forward completely... but I can't remember if it was from racking the slide. If you remember from my first shot with the .380, the return to battery took about .6 second... kind of slow motion. It took 18 frames or so at 30 frames per second in the video...WTH??
The .45 is really perplexing because I really checked the striker assembly and the channel, going over the striker with my fingers and very lightly with fine grit sandpaper, followed by a little polishing.
If I could get a stronger striker spring, I guess I could try that. I need to try some of the other four or so brands of ammo. I don't plan on buying any more WW100 or Wolf ammo, so maybe that will be the end of the "light strikes".
The duct tape is probably a good idea, but we can't handle company on short notice... too cluttered until after our next garage sale... and that probably won't help much, either. Who is it... Motel 6... that will keep the light on for you?

wyn. I really think that 45 needs to go back. I would bet you have a out of spec trigger bar and it screwing up the timing on ur kahr causeing at times light strikes. Just my guess but I would not think a heavier striker spring (which no one makes anyway) would cure its ills either. You would be just masking over what is another problem.
You could call kahr and ask them to send you a new striker spring but IMO it will not cure what is happening. WWB ammo should work with ease in your 45 to. no reason why it should not. I guess you could experiment with other brands to see if it helps any but IMO that 45 should work well with damn near any brand of good american made ammo.
What I think is happening is that the trigger bar when it is acting up it not drawing the striker completley back for full release of power causing the light strikes. It the trigger bar is causing the gun to be out of time the cocking cam is coming around to early and causing th striker block to let the striker release to early. I think if I was you, I would call kahr and chat with IAN and get his opinion on the matter. This 45 has been back at least once or twice has it not?? That in itself is not good but also it is evident that kahr has not fixed what is wrong either..
I would advise not doing any DIY stuff to the gun that might cause kahr to question it... They made it, let them fix it right...

Jocko, I think you're right. There is something going on that's weird. Once in a while, after c0cking or racking the slide. The trigger moves freely to the rear. When I let it go back forward, then it's ready to fire. My finger was not near the trigger when I racked it. I still had about 10% FTF after I checked and polished the striker. I made sure there was nothing in the "tunnel" it's in. It's definitely not reliable for defense.
I'll put together an email and pictures to Ian.
Bummer. I think the PM9 is reliable, and as for the P380, I can "tune" the magazine catch and maybe the slide lock a bit more. I think I'm close on it. On the catch, I observed the empty magazine tube and the catch's intrusion. I know that the follower and/or spring can still be impeded a bit, maybe causing just enough hang time for the slide lock to think the mag's empty. I'll scallop that just a tad more and polish the parts exposed in the tube.
I'm spending a fortune on ammo... or, rather, I have!

I use the 124-gr FMJ in 9mm, but I haven't tried the .45. Very good ammo and there are decent prices here and there. I bought the 9mm at $11 or less a box and I still look for .380 in the $15 or less range. I'm not about to run out of anything now, but I keep my eyes open for deals all over.
I had to stop buying the $9.47 a box Fed. 9mm at Wally World... I have so much of that. I had at least 4 buys of that at 6 boxes limit per trip. I'm definitely fat with 9mm.
My next project before too long will be to "recharge" my desiccant packs ~250° for a looong time in the oven. I use military ammo cans and those fist-sized mil-spec brown bags of desiccant I got at a gun show.

I didn't really need any ammo, but while I was down near St. Augustine for a small gun show, I went to a few of the outlet stores down there and then to the Gander Mountain Store. I didn't really see anything I wanted. They had a lot of ammo, but no .380. They did have the UMC Megaboxes(250 rounds) of 9mm, .40. and .45. The 9mm was $80 and the .40 was $110(?), and the .45 was $140!!!!! I told the guy working there that I had just bought a couple of those at Wally World for $84.97 each. He said, yeah, they had tried to talk management or whomever into lowering the prices, but no dice.
Jocko, you're right about the proctology exam... unbelievable! I mentioned your comment, too. All of their prices were high. What would be $12.50 at Wally's would be $20 there.
I didn't buy anything until I got to Costco. Unfortunately, they don't sell ammunition.

You're certainly welcome. I've done business with that guy several times now and bought a LOT of that .380. It's good ammo and you can't beat the price or service. Most places charge more for .380 than .45. The S&B has been showing up a lot more than other brands, especially in .380.
Buying 10 boxes or more and getting the 5% discount, my cost per box was under $15 a box delivered. I just don't understand why people on this forum don't pounce on it.

For the past three weeks, I have been able to buy Rem/UMC .380 @ 15.97/50 or 77.97/250 yellow megapacks. Locally and available intermittantly. Not the best stuff in the world but adequate enough for practice. I bought about 800 rounds and feel much better now.
Could be that the manufacturers are responding to the demand. 9mm and most other calibers have been widely available for the past few months.
