Pro-gun advocate gets tasered by cops after heckling gun control supporter at rally

Police tasered and arrested a pro-gun heckler on Tuesday after he repeatedly interrupted a gun control advocate during a New Hampshire rally against gun violence.

The heckler, identified as 52-year-old Daniel Musso, immediately began harassing one of the speakers at the event, John Cantin, who joined the crusade against guns after his daughter was tragically shot to death in 2009.

In the video, Musso is seen standing right next to Cantin as he speaks, interrupting him after every statement.

Police puzzle me.....

“Please have a little respect,” Cantin said to the man.

“If you had your speech in your mind, you wouldn’t have to read all this propaganda sh*t in front of you,” he responded.

Musso eventually walked away but was intercepted by police who reportedly wanted to ask him some questions.

According to reports, Musso “initiated physical contact with police” when officers began talking to him. The cops responded by tasering him and taking him to the ground. The lead-up to Musso’s physical altercation with police was not shown on video.

He was arrested and faces multiple charges, including simple assault against a police officer.

“Many involved in the counter protest thought Musso did nothing wrong,” WMUR-TV reports.

The “No More Names” gun control rally was organized by Michael Bloomberg’s Mayors Against Illegal Guns.

Picking on cops? Hardly. The "suspect" was trying to turn the officer to look at something, and as per typical, our honorable LEOs take it to the extreme and attack the guy. And cops wonder why people think they are douches. And yes, I am not painting all cops this way, but it happens way too often. That's why I always walk into these stories thinking "NOT GUILTY".

Glad someone cleared this up since the article specifically says there was no video leading up to the arrest and many involved said Musso did nothing wrong.

I have no idea who did or said what, so I think it best not to identify who's at fault. Last I checked, exercising your right to free speech, ******* or not, was not a tazing or arrestable offense.

However, being in this country illegally IS an arrestable and deportable offense and yet those people can stand on the front lawn of a government employee with a bullhorn while a cop sits on his butt in the car because he's 'skeered'.

Good job by the police on both counts here. Police-0, Me-2.
