Nice!
I just recently did my CW45 barrel. Also a few of the parts.

I also polished the inside of the slide where it was rubbing on the barrel, the guide rod, firing pin, and firing pin passage.

I used a Qtip and put jewelers rouge on it. Then stuck the Qtip in a drill and it shined up the passage pretty good.

Before I polished my barrel I had a hard time getting a round to chamber without using slide release lever but now since I polished the feed ramp to the point you can shave in her along with the whole barrel and chamber throat I can chamber a round by racking the slide with ease :D

Looks so good you gave me incentive to do my CM9 barrel. It came out looking as good as the chrome on the bumper of a brand new '58 Buick!

After your all done wipe her down really good with a lead removal cloth from Birchwood Casey and she shines up more at the end:D

I have a Dremel that I took home when my dad died ... but it did not come with any cloth bits ... only cutters and various abrasive bits. Could someone be more specific regarding what I should be looking for in order to polish a barrel. Would one of the kinds in the links below be ok to use.

You can do the same thing using finer and finer grades of wet/dry paper. I polished just the chamber area on my CW9 starting with 600 grit and light oil for lube, then 1000 grit with light oil and 1500 grit with light oil. After that finished/polished using Mother's Mag polish and old T shirt material.

Either the first or second worked for me.
