My gun runs flawless with 6rd mag's. nose dives with 3 7rds everytime i shoot it.
and yes i did the mag follower mod. So is there a trick to get the 7rders to work???

The trick is to replace them with 6 rd mags. I sent mine back to Kahr and they swapped it for a 6 rounder. No issues since.

If you use the 7 round mags because of the finger extension, then just load 6 rounds into them and they will work just like a 6 round mag. That 7th round makes everything too tight and causes the nosedives. After the springs wear in, then you can load back to seven rounds. Excess friction is not your friend, or your gun's.

Make sure the mag spring is installed correctly?

Interesting, because my CM9 works flawlessly with the 7 round mag. I wonder why some work, like mine, and some don't.

My LGS ordered a couple of 7 rd CW9 mags for me. When they came in, they were CW9 8 rd extended mags with the wraparound base. Price was good so I bought them just to see how they'd work as a spare carry mag for both my CW9 and CM9. I put over 50 rds (each mag) through both guns without a hitch. Neither mag needed any follower work. My CM9 has had no problem with any of my 7 rd CW9 mags either. Guess I got lucky?

Just my $.02
I wonder if the combination of a 7 rd mag's pinky extension and a good strong grip causes the mag to tip forward slightly in the mag well resulting in the grief some people seem to have with them.
No real evidence to support this...just a thought.
