Hopefully picking it up tomorrow. I'm really looking forward to it. I picked up a Don Hume H721OT so I have something ready for CC.

Congrats, you're gonna love it!. I've got 250 flawless rounds through mine and I love it more each time I shoot it. There is something I have to caution you about though...watch out they can multiply quickly. It's hard to own just one Kahr. Your's all black or 2 tone?

Two-tone. I've always liked two-tone autos, and I think it really looks good on the PM9.

This is a bit of a downsizing move for me- I had a full-szed M&P45, but it ended up staying at home in the safe all too often. Just a tad too bulky and heavy, especially for the upcoming summer months. That shouldn't be a problem with the PM9.

I know what you mean but you're going to love carrying the PM9. I pocket carry it all the time....reg pants, shorts or jeans....just fits in everything and shoots like a dream.

You will definitely love it! I finally took mine out for the first time today, and love it. Flawless through almost 300 rounds of WWB, Federals, Ruag, & CCI Blazers. Just remember to read the "Proper Prep of a new Kahr" in the tech section and rack the slide a few hundred times.

I had an XD9SC that I never liked to carry because it was too heavy, and while I loved the IWB Crossbreed I had for it, it was just too much of a hassle.

Now that I have the PM9, I just throw it in the desantis nemesis and seem to forget it's there no matter what I'm wearing whether it be shorts, jeans, or slacks just as Kahrseye said.

Welcome and congrats on buying one of Kahr's finest. Get her out and shoot her every chance you get. Be comfortable with the trigger before you decide to carry it on a regular basis. Kahr supporters are on a different plain of enlightenment.

IYG, thanks, I didn't think anyone noticed I was on a different plane...:9: or is it they thought I was just plain?

Welcome. I think Kahr puts crack in the frames or triggers or something...You just can't seem to put one down for very long. Oh and I think that they have bunny juice in there somewhere too. They do multiply like that.

Welcome and Enjoy your new baby! There are a lot of PM9 fans here with a wealth of knowledge. Everyone loves new pictures of the new additions, notice plural, It is impossible to own just one Kahr. Have fun and report back.

I brought her home this afternoon. Going to do the "proper prep" tonight and off to the range this weekend. I'm psyched.

Like the sound of that "proper prep" and you just gotta love psyched. It's all good. Looking forward to a range report.

truly a damn nice gun, just quality all the way. take your time with it and it will serve u well, practice close, forget about the 20+ yards stuff. this is a close up defense gun, get good there first then decide if you need to be shooting back further. If in doubt ask questions. we have some great people here who know alot and have walked in your footsteps , so to speak, so if we can relate our mistakes to you first, then maybe you can avoid or know how to avoid what many of us went through.
My PM9 is so much a part of my daily routine, that it sits on the mantel loaded in a desantis and if I leave the house for any reason, it is just routine for me to grab the PM9 and pocket it. That to me is what makes the PM9 such a great gun. No special dress required to carry it. lots of firepower and for me just one fun gun to shoot...

welcome aboard also. nice people here..:)

Gave it a cleaning last night. It wasn't very dirty, so it went pretty quickly. I did notice some shavings coming off the polymer at the back of the frame where the slide moves across it. I'm assuming that's normal.

New here also, I have a PM9 with NS and have added the CT laser as well. Had one trip the the range and had 200 flawless rounds the last 25 being gold dots. Have to get several hundred more down range before I add to my carry gun rotation. I currently am carrying a SA EMP and looking for something smaller and lighter for the summer months. So far I am happy and think I will enjoy carrying the PM9!!

You guys make me want to replace my S&W 340PD with one of these. It also didn't help that a recent episode of Handguns on TV said that the PM9 was the best of a revolver and a semi-auto all in one...

Has anybody given up their snubbie for the PM9? What was the transition like? Are you glad you did it?

Range report:
200 rounds WWB FMJ
50 rounds Speer Gold Dot JHP
Not a single hiccup.

I was actually considering going to a snubby when I picked the PM9 instead. Two more shots (three, with the longer mag), slimmer - what's not to like?

Everyone in favor of Mr. Happy getting a shiney new PM9 signify by yeah or nah. Guess you better post it, not say it. I can't hear too good and some of ya are a far piece away. I think the transition from revolver to PM9 would be slick and easy. Keep the revolver too.

Listen to Bawanna. He has a good point. Besides, the more tools in the house, the more fun that can be had.
