New EDC: CW9

Picked up a CM9 for those times I simply couldn't carry my S&W M&Pc.
Loved it so much the wife wanted a P380 to replace her Sig P238.
While picking up the P380, took the opportunity to handle a CW9 and *really* liked the weight/feel/trigger.
So, we now have 3 new Kahrs and to date all have been 100% after following the suggested pre-shoot prep work.
Anywho, back to the CW9:
Now that it has over 100 trouble-free rds through it (including my 147gr carry ammo), I'm willing to trust it for EDC in a MrSofty simple leather AIWB holster (same type as I used w/my M&Pc).
After a couple of days experimentation, I'm sold! I find the CW9 faster/easier to draw, it's much lighter than the M&P9c and w/a Recluse back pocket dual spare mag holder I'm carrying only 1rd less than the M&P 9c w/1 reload.
I'm starting to really like the DAO-style trigger so am selling my M&P9c intending to replace it w/a DAO-style Sig P250 for nightstand duty.

I'm with you. I have 2 P250s, 2 FNPs, several 1911s and a bunch of revolvers all suitable for carry. I bought the CW9 last year for summer carry IWB under t shirt. It's turned into my favorite year round EDC gun too. Of course it's nice to have a CM9 for the pocket too.:D

I carry a CM9 and a P380 as back-up. Both are light, slim, and reliable. The long smooth double action trigger is all the safety that I need. Just draw, point and fire.

Good choice on the CW9! It's feels so good in the hand and is a gr8 shooter!

I have a cm9 and cw9 along with a tp40. The cw9 is a great iwb sized pistol. Hides so well. Maybe look at the TP series for the nigh stand.

Great pistol with that same kahr feel you like sooo much now.

Mine is the P9 which is the CW with a polygonal barrel plus other things. The CM9 will have a place only if you can pocket carry it. Otherwise the CW9 will hide on the waist as well as the CM with the right tilt in the holster plus have extra barrel for more velocity and sight radius not to mention that extra round with your pinky on the grip. Love the CW and P9's.

One thing I love about this new world of guns (to which I've only just become acquainted within the last six months) is the "one size does not fit all" mentality. Everyone is comfortable with letting everyone else pick and choose what works best for them ... at least as far as guns and holsters and carry options, etc.
