Wanted to pass on some news on a new Wallet/Pocket Holster I picked up.

It's the Guru Pocket holster from pocketholsters.com

http://pocketholsters.com/Kahr_Arms_Pocket-Wallet_Holste/kahr_arms_pocket-wallet_holster.html

It works well with my CM9, very fast shipping. You can find cheaper holsters but it works great.

What I like the most is the back leather is connected to the fitted part with Chicago Screws that can be removed. So, if you want to wear it in your back pocket, leave the back leather on and it completely covers the shape of the gun. If you want to carry your gun in the front pocket, take the back leather piece off and it's a normal leather pocket holster, so two in one. I really like it. I don't carry pocket all the time but this works great for me when I do.

That's a quality holster.

How does it work in the back pocket? CM 9. Strikes me as being a little large for the back pocket.

If you go to the website there is a youtube video showing how it works. The CM9 works well depending on the pants I'm wearing. It looks like I have a big wallet in my pocket.

The 4" wide is not an issue for back jean pocket, but 6" is about1" too tall. However if you have something to cover your back pocket, a jacket and shirt, it might be OK. It is an option.

I have gone round and round. The best "system" for me, is a pancakeholster on my strong (right side). It sits high and tight. I can get in car and put seat belt on. A T-shirt pretty much covers it, but it could print. So I wear a second kaki shirt unbuttoned or jacket in the winter.

The bad part about guns on your back or back pocket, to me, is you can't sit and it is an odd draw. You could be on your back in a fight and not be able to get to your weapon. Also some one can take your gun if they come up behind you. At least on your side you have more control.

Just one question, Jeremy. If you have your gun in your wallet where do you keep your money and drivers license? A curious mind wants to know.

I carry my wallet in my front pocket. Truthfully, I never sit on the gun in my back pocket. I pull it out when I'm in my car. I have an ID wallet made by Saddleback leather co. Great little wallet.

How do you carry, money, credit cards, store cards, medical insurance card, business cards and miscellaneous stuff in that little ID wallet?

I try not to carry to much stuff in my wallet. In my ID Wallet I have my DL and CCL Id, insurance cards, two debit cards, and three credit cards. I have an open slot in the middle for cash. Thats all I ever carry.

Now that's what I call real protection, but I think you're printing just a tad. :)

I have a number of holsters for my CM9. Out of curiosity I ordered a nylon IWB holster from E-Bay. Only $12.99 - couldn't loose. Wound up using it more than any of the others. Most comfortable IWB holster I've ever used. Completely hides with blue jeans and tee shirt. I use a Sta-Put for pocket carry. Diff'rent strokes I guess.
