Finally got a chance to take my new PM9 out, and run some rounds through her. Read the manual and followed Jocko's "Proper Prep of a new Kahr" post (must have racked the slide over 1000 times before hand lol), and came away with 0 FTF, FTE's, or any type of malfunctions.

Flawless through about 2-300 rounds of ammo from WWB White Box, CCI Blazers, RUAG, and Federals. I would mix the rounds in the magazine as well just to see if I could get any malfunctions. Also had a buddy of mine, who is a relatively new shooter, try the PM9 to see if he might get any malfunctions, and none whatsoever on his end either.

Didn't get a chance to try out any self defense ammo, but will post that up when I do. I was a lil worried at first after reading different posts about other people's first time experiences with the PM9, but I can honestly say, I trust this gun as much as I trust my XD (which has also been flawless for me) I got a chance to shoot them both together, and the recoil on the PM9 is much more snappier than the XD, but isn't as bad if you use the extended mag. Trigger pull takes some getting used to, but very smooth.

I wanted to sell the XD since I was going to carry the PM9 almost all the time from here on out, but it's such a silky smooth gun that I have to keep it.

Anyhow, below Pic is from 20' away, using the 6rd Mag first time shooting it.

And then a whole cluster of mess below in chronological order. Got a lil ugly the further away it got lol.

Circles are 20'/6rd mag (as pictured previously)
Squares 20'/7rd mag
Triangles 30'/6rd mag
Backslash 30'/7rd mag
Equal sign 40'/6rd mag
Straight Line | 40'/7rd mag.

Hang in there. Your groups will get better over time.

Mine did. Go look at the "accuracy Pm9" thread to see. My first few times, the shots were a tad left (2 to 3").

ur groups are ok, don't compare them to what you can do with the xd either. kahrs are IMO just not the easiest guns to shoot accurately. It takes rounds down range to get better. Your groups are OK IMO. It is what it is,,, a small up close personal defense gun that will go bang every time and you will carry it more than any other gun you own.

Your first target photo IMo is excellent. welcome to the forum also. nice people here..

Shooting looks good and will get better over time. Just keep putting rounds down range.

Thanks Guys! I have a new addiction and I need help! I'll probably be sneaking off to the range every chance I get now to master the new baby.

That addiction seems to be quite common around here. I darn near called in sick today to go play but darn work ethics got me again.
Welome, enjoy the new baby.

It's all about practicing and getting used to using good trigger techniques, even when firing rapidly. Dry firing really helps. I like to use a snap cap and just c0ck the striker by pulling the slide back about 1/2" so that you don't need more than one snap cap.
Acquired in January, my PM9 was the first one that I shot a lot. I was "plagued" by the groupings at 7:30 to 8:00 o'clock with some going to POA when I concentrated. After getting and shooting my PM45, I shot that well. Then I got my P380 and I shot it well. I tried the PM9 again and it was much improved ... close to the other two.
That has improved the PM9's "stepchild" position, but it's still between the PM45 and P380 for weight and power, so it's choices now.
Good shooting for now. You'll get better with practice.

That' s the right combination. Rounds, and fundamentals practice, that'll cure what ails ya.
