Well folks.... boring boring boring.....
The pistol eats everything. Boringly so. You'd expect that.
The slide is heavy, the spring is not terribly tight, and the slide overtravel is generous.
Trigger pull.....
After much dry firing, and some live firing, I've got to say its settled in pretty well. The trigger feels (to my finger) a lot like the Ruger P90. I've had two different P90's and they both had smooth but rather mushy SA triggers, and smooth but rather mediocre DA pulls. Hard to judge the DA vs DA, but my muscle memory tells me that its quite similar. The SA pull is very very similar. Ok actually for SA pull. Not overly light, but smooth and gradual 'till it breaks. Double action... has one click as it passes half cock, then is moderately heavy and smooth till it breaks. About the same as the Ruger. Lighter and smoother than my SIG P-220.
As for the laser....
I did my looking, got GOOD advice from the forum, and have settled on the Crimson Trace Rail Mater, which ought to arrive in a day or so.
Magazines.... impossible to find, except at extreme scalpers prices.
Case...... went with the Blackhawk SOCOM case, which is also good for a variety of full size or smaller handguns. Highly recommended!
Ammo... anything and everything.
And thats it so far... targets to follow... still working on the trigger pull. I'm tending to pull to the right on the SA pull, so I need some laser training to help with that. Amazingly ok on the DA pull, center of mass is not a problem at 7 or 15 meters.
And thats all I have to report for now!~
