After cleaning my pistol i noticed a gap between the frame and slide toward the muzzle. Noticable enough that i took a picture and can see light in between but I cant post pics here. Unsure if this gap is normal

How does it fire? If it fires fine with no problems, and the bullets go where you aim, then don't worry about it. It's meant to defend you against bad guys, not look pretty.
The above is meant to be an approximation of what some of the experts on here would say.

Here is the gap on a CW9. This is normal. This photo might exaggerate it a bit because it is close up and the sun is shining through the background, but a gap you can see light through is normal.

I read a post on this and the bottom line was that the dust cover should never touch the slide or have too much slide overhang. I think everyone notices the gap but there is nothing wrong with some light shining through. The post was about 1911's but I would think the same principles would apply to our Kahr's.
