CW9 Magazine drops out

Hi. I bought a used CW9 for my wife. Although used it did not appear it had ever been fired. She used it to qualify for a permit and while doing so the magazine kept falling out. Anyone else have this happen and if so, what is the resolution for it?

If you verified that she fully inserted the mags, a new mag catch will do the trick.

Oddly enough my P9 had problems with it's two mags doing that. Changed the little spring that held the mag release years ago and that helped a lot. However, a new 7 round mag from Kahr has never experienced this. I quess it's notch is just in a slightly different place. Needless to say the newer mag is in place most of the time.

Explain the issue, it's possible they will send you a new magazine catch (did so for my CW 45:))

Thanks for the info and warm welcome. Ordered the mag catch and will let you all know if that worked.
