Started taking this magazine a while ago and if you have never seen or read one they are very good...News stories with a Right Wing Conservative slant unlike all the other Left leaning Obama loving crap out there...

This month there is a very good article about Remington and their plant at Ilion NY and why they don't want to move even with New Yorks anti gun Governor and laws....Good read and a very good magazine if anyone is interested...check the article out: https://www.nationalreview.com/nrd/articles/352184/remington-usa

The National Review is one of the very best conservative publications.

An aside from the National Review...

Remington has lost all respect from me. Not because they are located in NY state but because the have cut corners in every place they can find put out substandard firearms for the last decade or more. Every company they have taken over has had the same happen (Bushmaster and Marlin as a couple of examples).

The ONLY new Remington I would even consider, and did but passed on in favor of a Winchester Mod 70) would be the 700. I own one that is about 15 years old and love it. A Rem 700 Sendaro is on my short list but I would more than likely try to find an older one as I'm afraid to find out what corners the company cut to save a few bucks.
