Just got one.
Good unit. As bright as any - which means not great in broad daylight outdoors. I don't need a laser outside in broad dayllght. Bright daytime indoors... the unit is plenty bright. Lots of adjustment in the beam. I was able to easily set it coincide with the iron sights on my FNX-45 at about 30something feet. That puts it "off" by only an inch or two at very close range - where it really doesn't matter. Paddle on/off is just what I wanted. Perfect, Good actuation too. It won't get turned on or off accidentally. Easy mounting... four rail apacers that place the unit incrementally forward/back on the rail notch. I slammed the slide home about a dozen times, its not recoil, but the beam didn't wander in relation to the sights. And the unit is very small... would easily fit on a small pistol with even minimal rail length.
This unit would work on just about any sort of rail... pistol, rifle or shotgun.
I like it. I intend it for the house/truck pistol, and can call the laser into use if need be in dark conditions.
