Will soon to be owner of a CW9. Still waiting for my order to ship.

I've been looking for a while at a single stack 9mm to complement my Ruger LCP for concealed carry. Finally had the cash after saving for a wedding and found a good post-panic price.

Cant wait to finally take ownership and get to the range.

That's the same two gun combo I use as well. Love my CW9.

Thanks everyone, the wait is getting to me. I guess that is the downside of ordering online at Bud's and paying with eCheck to get the "cash discount" as it takes an additional 3-5 days.

But I should be happy though, last firearm I got was a Colt 6920 ordered in Feb of 2012 got in June of 2012.

I'm also back in the 9mm game as I sold my 9mm Sigma to get a .40 M&P a few years go.

It's interesting to see the amount of CW9 and LCP owners.

When I got into CC I realized I personally was not going to want to carry my full size S&W Sigma 9mm all the time. It was just to bulky for me. My philosophy was to integrate my carry habits into my life and not my life int my carry habits. I wanted something I knew I could take with me no matter what. Enter the LCP. Either pocket carry or IWB I have it on my everywhere but work and prohibited places.

But now I'm so used to carry, especially IWB that I want something in 9mm that I can get a full three finger grip on and that is where the CW9 came in. Also 8 rounds of 9mm will be better than 7 of .380.

I imagine the LCP will still be my quick go to firearm especially for pocket carry situations.

I got the CT laser for my LCP as it lacks any real sights, at least on the gen 1 models. Not sure yet if I will do the same on the CW9.
