I have tried to go to the range every day this week but it has been one huge storm after another so I decided to clean and photo my little Glock family. I originally sold a S&W Sigma to purchase the 23 and liked it so much about 4 months later I traded a guy my Springfield XDS9 straight up for his Glock 22. Then I ran into the G27 at the gunshop and decided to buy it for the full set.

I gotta say I really like all three of them but if I had to choose one it would be the G23. It just seems to fit my had perfectly and my natural point of aim is great with it. I like it so much it's my bedside gun and I threw my CT on it. All three of the guns have Trijicon night sights which is really nice! I also like the fact the mags are interchangeable even though the G27 looks goofy with a G22 mag in it lol. I have the Galco King Tuck holster and all three guns fit in it fine. I have carried the 27 quite a bit and with the Galco holster it conceals well. I would still take my XDS or Kahr over the 27 for an every day carry, easy to conceal firearm but it is definitely nice to have the ten round option in the Glock.

I've carried my 23 for 13 years on the job and when they retire them this year, I'm buying it. Butt ugly but it works.

The only Glock I've ever really taken to is my Gen2 G23. I still also own an early G27, but it's a "just always there" console gun that I don't shoot well and am thinking about getting rid of and console replacing with my MK9.

If I could only keep one, it would be a G23.

I shoot more 9mm than .40, because it's cheaper, but I like the G23 best.

Nice collection.

Now you need a G35 to round out your Glock .40 collection. ;)
I have a G35 w/a extra G22 upper and my trusty G27.
I sold my G23 a few years ago and have always though I made a mistake at the time.
Enjoy your Glock .40s.

I also have the G-22-23-27 and love them all but I bought Lone Wolf conversion barrels 40/9mm for them to save on ammo. They work great for me!
Happy Shooting!

I've looked at Glocks and sold a Gen 1 I had years ago back in about '88 or '89. I didn't keep it long. They just don't fit me like I want. You have a nice set there though.

I love my Kahr's and my XDs .45.

I bad-mouthed Glocks... or Blocks, as I called then... for years, but then it seemed like we might not be able to get them any more, along with the "high-capacity" STANDARD magazines. I decided that I needed some and by the end of February I had three... G23C, G19 Gen 3, and G22 Gen 4. I sold the G22 unused, bought a G19 Gen 4(trying to fit "Wifey") and have a G21 SF lower arriving in a few days. That's 3 1/2! I also have my FFL dealer looking for a G21 SF before the gun show next weekend. I'll sell the G19 Gen 3 then, along with many other pistols, mags, holsters, and ammo. I've bought some stuff for resale... a lot. I have many Glock mags for myself and to resell.

I'm going to wind up with 4 Glocks, counting the Mech Tech Carbine Conversion. The G21 SF will replace my XD45 Tactical "battle pistol" and have a companion carbine that may replace my 12-ga Charles Daly Tactical Semi-Auto. It may look like I'm going Glock, but my 5 Kahr polymers will continue to be my EDC's... lots of choices. The Glocks are just too blocky for me to CCW, but if I think I'm going to NEED a pistol, I want the firepower for which the Glocks are known. The three that I have fired so far, totalling over 1,000 rounds, have NEVER had any malfunctions are are fun to shoot... but the danged triggers sure seem to take a toll on my trigger finger with regular full-bore ammo!

I did get a Tactical Solutions TSG-22 Conversion Kit for the G19/G23's. That's a lot of fun! It's cheap and easy shooting if you have the right .22 ammo. It's a big change switching back to centerfire ammo, though! I can shoot much better with the .22 conversion!

The TSG-22 15-round mags did give me some problems with some ammo... didn't like more than 10 rounds loaded. Some rounds were flipped forward of the pistol into the firing area when I did a vigorous overhand rack! Typically, on the first round fired, the second round would be caught nose up into the air between the forward area of the ejection port and the breech face.

Wifey's still unemployed and I just have too much money tied up in guns and stuff that I can't justify having... to myself... I'm NOT a collector, though some would call me one of those "collector/hoarders".

Most everyone knows.
But for those that don't
I've got a gen 3 Talo EXO G27.
With six barrels in three calibers and lengths.
Twenty mags in three calibers and four lengths.
And X grip adapters for the compact and full size mags.
It's the only Glock I own.
But it's not your average run of the mill Glock.

This is the first mag of 15 from "Wifey's" new G19 Gen 4... from a rest. It "seemed" to shoot left a tiny bit. :D Without a rest, I let my varying trigger use more of the target!
