Wanna put a tactical light on my CZ75 P01 Compact. Any suggestions? What battery system works best and why? What about budget lights? Under $100?

The StreamLight TLR-3 is pretty impressive if you ask me. For $75-ish you can't beat it. I just got one for my P-01 and I love it. I had been running a Viking light bracket w/ a regular streamlight flashlight in it...but that was on another gun and for whatever reason I could not get that Viking bracket to fit onto the rail on the P-01 secure enough for my liking, even though it is a standard rail. Anyway, I got the TLR-3 and am very happy w/ that decision. I initially thought I'd get something brighter, but ~100 lumens is PLENTY for my inside needs. When I get up into the 150+ lumens indoors, hitting a white wall or catching a reflection off of anything kinda blinds me.

I have the TLR1 on a Glock 17. Works great. Permanent on, momentary on, strobe. $99 on Amazon.

I have the TLR-2s on my M&P. That has a laser so its beyond your price. But the TLR-1 can be had for around $100 and its the same bulb and electronics. I highly recommend it.

Got it. Here's the report:
Pros- mounts easy and solid. Very bright. Aluminum body is sturdy. Plastic lamp bezel non issue.
Cons- plastic switch could be a weak spot but functions ok. Easy to cross-thread lamp head when installing battery. Be careful.
Overall. Glad I saved the $$ vs. streamlight.

I like the Nebo HP190 on my SD9VE also. If I tightened the head down all the way it wouldn't work, but backing it off just a little fixed that. BTW I got mine (brand new) for $20 with free shipping on ebay :p (I got lucky on an auction)
