So i'm looking at a crossbreed for my CW9 im still awaiting shipment on. I'm not sure if I will go with a CT laser for this firearm or go with night sights. So I want to buy used first. That way if I get the laser I don't take a huge hit on selling the holster.

On Crosbreed's site I notice that the K and CW seem to use the same holster? Am I correct in this and if I order a second hand Crosbreed for a K firearm it will work with my CW9?

I have a laser on my LCP and a laser/light on my M&P 40 but recently I have been debating on the merit of laser sighting systems so Im not sure what I will do with the CW9 and what changes I may make on my other platforms.

I have three of the horsehide Minitucks... two were bought used. They all seem to be the same, though bought for different Kahrs. I bought my first one new for my PM9 and found that ALL of the Kahrs except the P380 fit it/them... K9, PM9, P9, P40, and even the PM45. Belt tension gives plenty of retention.

If you do order one, don't forget the 10% discount for current NRA members, LEOs, and military. Check the FAQ's at their site.

Thanks. I got the NRA discount on the last one I bought for my LCP.

I have night sights and a CT....

I like both. Though I bought the CT first if I had night sights prior I likely wouldn't have purchased the CT.

The big issue for me is the CT is always on and a CW45 demands a full grip... I can't grip it without the laser turning on. OK so I sight with a looser grip and then tighten. Works... I can't see the laser at shorter ranges when focusing on sights. But the laser is probably obvious to anyone I'm aiming at.

OTOH I can draw and shoot from the hip or above/below/left/right of line of sight with laser alone...

Still confused but I have options!

After a few more range sessions and though I've decided to move away from lasers as a sighting system.

They are more prone to failure, add more complexity to operating the firearm and I would rather go down a training path of only useing one type of sighting system.

I got into lasers earlier on in learning about firearms and their defensive use and now feel they are not worth while for me.

I put an order in directly with Crosbreed for a holster for my new CW9.
