Welcome...sounds like you've started an unhealthy obsession with Kahr's. Of course we will do our best to continue to encourage that. Don't be a stranger and chime in any chance you get.

I tend towards the traditional in my tastes. I have no custom items other than night sights and wood grips on the MK. I prefer to stick with factory as a general rule except for sights and grips. I don't go in for modifications or high tech finishes, or garish trick-outs. I might consider some custom action work one of these days, but I don't feel that any of my Kahrs especially need it. My observations on my four Kahrs include:
The PM-9 is everything it is alleged to be. While much lighter, it is about as large as a pocket pistol can be and more effective than the traditional similar sized offerings (the Colt 1908, Walther PPK, Remington 51, Savage 1907 are others I have owned). It is what I pocket carried the past two summers. Mine has been perfect since break-in for about a thousand rounds. While I know I will never lover polymer, it does serve a useful purpose. I can't stand the grip texture, so I have a Hogue Handall, Jr to offset that liability.
The K-9 fits my hand better than any pistol I have ever held. I can shoot it as well as a good larger compact such as my Sig 239. I have had some disconcerting issues with it that I am working with. I won't carry it because I can't trust it until I have worked these through. The longer NYCPD trigger pull doesn't really bother me.
The MK-9 Elite is a dream. For OWB carry (my preference when I don't have to pocket carry), it conceals better than just well. I can shoot it just about as well as the K-9 and better on a good day, especially at 10 yards. It has the style, the class and the reliability of my German Walther PP but in 9 mm. It has been a flawless performer from round one.
The P380 has about 250 rounds so far as it is less than a month old. A couple of failures to return to full battery mid-magazine and a couple of stovepipes during break-in, so the jury is still out until I can fire another 300-400 thru it. Also, I had to be especially careful not to touch the slide lock lever as, on such a small pistol, it was easy to do. And when I did, the slide would not lock back on the last round. This pistol is everything the LCP should be but isn't. It fills a niche in my needs that only my 1910 Browning has done in terms of size and thinness that make the piece truly pocket-worthy. Better than the PM and better than the J frame revolver in terms of feeling like it is even there. While it doesn't have the natural pointability of the Browning, the decent sights make up for that. And it weighs half as much. The grip serrations don't bother me as much as do the PM-9's. I am amazed at how well I can hit with it. Much better than I thought....and exponentially better than I can shoot LCP....not that I would ever own an LCP.

Thanks for the detailed report. I personally do not have any non-polymer Kahrs, but am considering an MK-9 as the extra weight does not bother me. I had a chance to hold a K9 and it sure does fit well... some day...

Welcome to the site!!!!
Very nice collection. In all fairness to the LCP this gun should be everything the LCP is not, thats what you pay for when you buy the gun. Not that I would ever own an LCP either.
