Went to the range on Saturday with one intention - 200 round break-in for the CM9. The first 50 rounds of Remington UMC and no hiccups.
Switched to a 100-pack of Federal caused about 4 FTFs. Finished up with a box of Remington UMCs and had about 3 FTF. It's possible I was limp wristing towards the end, as 200 rounds through this little thing took quite a while.
Should I expect FTF if shooting 200 rounds without a clean/re-lube?

I got my CM9 home, followed the clean & lube directions found here, then racked it by hand what seemed like a gazillion times. I did this all with that first range trip in mind. I put 200 FMJ's down range followed by 50 JHP's & I had zero hiccups. Fired every time & slide locked open after every last round. Keep shootin' her & I think you'll be just fine. Welcome to the CM9 club. Great 'lil carry partner! :D

my 21 cents, shootergot tired, more than anything else. keep ur sessions at a 100 .See the kahr lube chart god start for lube. 200 rounds out of anygun can betiring and then things happen, more so in the smal lframe guns likeur cm9. U might wanttoreview the propper prepping thread to, there are some dandy tips there to checkout ofr your gun. Once done, then u never have to thinkabout "what ifs"...

Yeah, I racked it quite a bit before hitting the range. One thing I might do soon is polish the feed ramp before going back to the range. It locked open every time the mag was empty, so I guess I should consider myself lucky!
After 200 rounds and a thorough cleaning, it still will catch open an inch or so before closing with an empty mag inserted (posted another thread about it). Do you think I should call Kahr and see what they think? The slide is definitely making contact with the mag somewhere, though I see no shiny metal or roughed plastic.
The pj holster is on order with a 10 week wait. Poor guy must be slammed...

if the gun worked ok for 200 rounds with no issues. I would forget about that little issue, as it will soon take care of itself with more rounds downrange.Just my 21 cents on this.
