What are you guys using for mag carriers?

Im looking for a dual mag carrier, or even open to using two single mag carriers.

Have you seen anything out there that isnt too bulky and mounts horizontally?

The vertical carriers dig into my side when I sit and make carrying them uncomfortable.

I run a Remora single mag holder but shove 2 mags in it. It is wide enough to fit 2 Kahr mags back to back. They are snug, but they work. It either rides in my back pocket, or waistband, depending on the clothing.

The only good horizontal magazine holder I know of is this one: http://magholder.com/

It practically disappears on a black belt, especially if the shirt is bloused or if the user suffers from "Dunlap" syndrome. (Note: This comment is based on using a black magazine, such as Glock. A shiny stainless steel Kahr mag would not blend in with a black belt.)

Smokey mountain knife works probably has a boat load for makes and models.

Simple nylon knife sheath works best for me when carrying an extra CM9 mag. This sheath can ride vertical or horizontal & I hardly know it's there. I wear mine horizontal & with a black belt, it just blends in. These come in different sizes, so check the site for measurements. These are great for the smaller mags like the Kahr's. :D

CompTac does make a teklok mount for mags that provides 360deg rotation. I love their holsters, but no idea how their mag holders work. I would imagine the teklok makes it pretty bulky for EDC, probably more for competition carry. Still, something to look at/consider.

My extra Kahr mag disappears into a sunglasses case that clips to my belt. A friend, a Marine combat veteran, carries his spare 1911 mag in a baggie in his front pocket.
