Finally got my mini tuck I ordered for my K9 three months ago. The holster is very well made and very comfortable to wear. I am kind of a slender guy so trying to figure out what position around my waist provides the best concealment. Seems like in the five o clock I notice the end of the grip holding my shirt up a little. At three o clock in the mirror I look more bulky on my right side where gun is. So at what position do you guys wear your guns?

I use a hybrid and it generally sits about 4-4:30. Basically for me, it means the rear sight lines up with the outside seam of my jeans. Some print may still occur if you are bending at the waist instead of using your knees, but if it's printing when you stand normally, some adjustment is probably needed.

It takes some time to find the sweet spot for hybrid and their multiple adjustment capabilities, especially when new as they will be more stiff.

First I would try to get the grip to tuck in to your side a bit more to reduce the grip print.

I do this by using the belt and dropping the holster down a notch since this connection with the belt acts like a fulcrum and it should push the grip in a bit more. Don't over do this or it may in end poking and could become uncomfortable.

After you get that setting where you want it you might need to make an adjustment to increase the cant.

In both cases, make your changes a little bit at a time and give it another try.

Lastly you may likely need to move it from 5 towards 3, but hopefully you will be able to stop before you reach 3 for the side bulk issue. Maybe 4-4:30 will do it for you, too.

I'd work on the other two settings first, then use this last so you might be able to minimize how far forward you need to go.

Good luck.

I made adjustments to the clips so the front clip is in the top hole and back clip is in the middle. This dropped the gun farther into the pants and the back sight is right above the seam of my pants plus gave more forward can't. The gun is setting perfect now with almost no printing. Thanks for the advice.

These are designed to fit behind the hip (4-5)

Place it on your hip, so when the gun is pressed against your body, it is just aft of your iliac crest. That places it about 3:30 - 4:00. Forward of this, the gun presses against your hip, causes discomfort, and as you expressed, makes a thin man look more bulky. Placed too far aft, the butt of the gun prints, especially when you bend at the waist.

Placed just aft of the iliac crest, the pistol falls into the natural depression of the body, is comfortable, and conceals very well. Practice this in front of a mirror, and it won't take you long to find the sweet spot; the balance between comfort and concealability.

I have a CB ST for my cw9. Gun sits at 4 o'clock, front clip is right at 3. I use the second hole down on both clips. I don't really wear loose t shirts or button ups so if I bend over my grip will show. I don't rally care though. If u put it to low your jeans can cover up the opening a little making reholstering a pain. Also if u can't it to far forward it can make drawing a little slower.
