I use a 3C for my TP9, which is the one indicated for the P9, which I have also. I ordered a 3B for my P9 as a result. I just like less of the grip being up against the holster. Makes for a MUCH easier draw. The trigger and trigger guard still have PLENTY of coverage.
I know that's not exactly what you asked, but my point is that if I still had my PM9 (same size as your CM9), I'd want a Remora a bit shorter than the 3B for it. If that's the 2A, then yep, I think you are in business.
Maybe someone that has a 3B and a CM/PM can post a pic of how close it fits up the grip and 'into' the trigger guard area.
Just my 2 cents.

Never used a 2A, only the size Remora suggests and it worked fine. I cant comment on the smaller one, but I've owned the reinforced top as well as the non-reinforced (both with sweat shield) for both Kahr and Glock and the non-reinforced has better retention all the way around. If you need to reholster, buy leather or kydex.
