I rode my Road King from SE Pa. to his home down in up state NY,and laid him to rest yesterday. I met with his family and friends, who could not believe we rode that far to take part in making sure Sgt. Dominick Licari reached his final resting place.
At 1 minute into the video there is Skid and myself (I'm the gray haired guy in the vest with the eagle on the back.:D) standing in the flag line honoring this WWII hero who gave it all for his country. We had great weather on Monday riding country roads all the way up, 71/2 hrs. Upstate PA. and NY are absolutely beautiful. We had a great ride back taking Highways 5 hrs. as storm fronts were moving in and we needed to get some miles behind us real quick. All total 659 miles
I am so happy Skid I decided to do this trip. It was a beautiful ride and it was and honor for me to meet with his family as well as so many other fine people along the way. We presented his brother with a coin from the veterans in our area.:amflag:
