OK, I know its not a target gun but are the sights regulated to a specific load?

Usually lighter bullets shoot lower and that has been my experience with my PM9. Due to the frenzy in the reloading market, I've only recently gotten my hands on some 147s and will be shooting them soon; previously I've been shooting 115s and 124s and finding they shot 2-4" low at 21 ft.

As a rule of thumb, MOST gun makers regulate for the oldest/heaviest load that is common for the caliber. I believe that Kahr 9mms are regulated for 147 gr, standard pressure loads. As another aside standard pressure and ball ammo are usually what makers use to regulate(they do this part for the cheap/liability reasons).
