I didn't see the stainless slide stop that comes on the P45 on the kahr site, where can I order it, I'm assuming I have to call them, during my beach vacation I carried my cw45 daily/nightly, in an iwb holster, it would develop a large amount of moisture right at the slide stop, I was unaware so I didn't pull it from the holster until one night when I was bored at the hotel.
I pulled it out after a long walk on the boardwalk and found that the slide lock and slide were covered in moisture and the stop had begun to rust. Does anyone know how much kahr wants for the stainless stop?

FWIW:
Both the P45 and CW45 slide stops are stainless steel (think stain-less;)).
Either costs $24.20 as a replacement parts.

Your stop should clean up with fine with a Scotch-Brite pad or light bead blasting.

Indeed, the CW's slide stop is stain-less steel. Its also made by the MIM process for both the lever and pin. The P's slide stop is also stainless. The lever is.... they don't say, but I suspect its cast or molded, aaaand the pin is very hard metal, and nickel plated. The two are joined with a crosspin.
No advantage reaally of one over the other and I do not think either offer more stain-less propeties than the other.

Just umderstamd that stainless steel used in firearms has enough carbon in it that it will also rust. Wipe down with a clp of some brand and het the metal parts up to 200* over night. It will not hurt any springs and the metal will soak in a some oil. Or just check up the clp and over time it will stop any rust.

Thanks guys for replying, looks like I don't really need to order a new part just maintain the one I have, I don't have a problem with that as I love fiddling with my guns!
