Over the years I have enjoyed the T9, T40, TP45, K9 and PM9. A new user over on GB with no rating was selling a K40 with no reserve. I was able to win it on a ridiculously low bid. I talked to the guy on the phone and he seems legit, so I'm looking forward to putting a K40 through the paces and letting it have a spot in my carry rotation.

Unboxing & range report to follow.....

I think you'll enjoy the K40. A bit snappy, so to speak, but a lot of firepower in a compact frame.

I learned & practiced an overlapping finger grip for the PM9. On the PM9, it gives my little finger a job and a place to be + it allows me to align POA with POI. I think I will probably use that method with the K40, too.

Whatever grip...just hold on. ;)

You are gonna love that k40. I bought mine for an alternative to 9mm during the "ammo crisis". Glad I did because the k40 quickly became my primary edc.

Enjoy.

I hate when other sell guns at a good price and cause me to spend money. DARN THOSE PEOPLE. :7:

Nice choice on the K40! Can't wait to see the range report. I have been eyeing one of those myself.

I pretty sure you'll be more than happy with that K40. One of the sweetest small semi's I've ever owned!

Well, the k40 arrive today. The seller was kind enough to include a leather holster and for aftermarket magazines with it in addition to the pistol in the two regular mags. The aftermarket magazines are predictably unreliable, but the pistol and the factory magazines work great. One thing that surprised me, is that the K 40 is not necessarily anymore snappy then the T 40. Just to make sure that I was comparing apples to apples I took the T 40 with me when I went to pick up the K 40 and then shot both at the range. The glow is pretty much gone out of the night sights, so I will be replacing those. Still, for the price I paid for the pistol it's will a good deal to replace the sites.

Wow, that's surprising that it doesn't seem any more snappy than the T. I would have thought the T would be a mild mannered critter compared to the fire breathing K.

Looks like it shoots accurately.

Yes, Colonel. I'm a very happy new K40 owner. I shot PMC factory ammunition as well as my home loaded ammo. The new k40 handled both without any issues.
