Like many others, i had recently been looking for a carry gun. I thought i had made my decision on purchasing one (XDs). Well when i got home last friday night, my local FFL posted on Facebook, a pic of a CM9 that they had just got in stock. The next day i walked down the street to check it out, I immediately liked this little gun, but yet knew nothing about it. So i came back home, and started searching the net. That is when i found KahrTalk, i went to the PM and CM section, and browsed over the first two pages of threads. I was blown away by how positive the feedback was on the gun, even the threads where people were working through problems, had positive replies from people trying to help. About a hour later I walked down the street again, and purchased my CM9, and a lot of the reason for doing so was this site.

All last week was spent going through this new members section, Tech section, Etc. learning everything i could about the gun, and preparing for breaking it in. Yesterday I was finally able to get out and do the 200 round break in, and the gun performed FLAWLESSLY! No Failures of any kind! :D I drove home from the range as a very happy man.

Thank you to all the Mods and members for keeping a great site, and also thank you for helping me purchase a great gun.

Welcome. Very familiar to what I did about 1 1/2 years ago. Best pocket pistol available.

Where are guys like you when we need them. We just had an unhappy camper recently, and some of the guys are a bit shell- shocked. Thanks for the great report and post. Enjoy your new find ... it just gets better and better.

You live on Virginia's shore and you can walk to your gun shop! Geez, I'm jealous. Welcome to the forum.

Howdy from another new Kahr owner. Just got my CM9 on Saturday, and so far I'm very happy with it. I've only got 100 rounds so far, but it's been flawless -- even though I'm shooting cheap remanufactured ammo.

What I can't figure out is what makes this gun so fun to shoot. I mean, you pull the trigger and it goes bang, just like every other gun. But there's something about it...

The only thing KT likes more than a happy new owner is a new owner who takes the time to read up on the threads and follow the good advice. Welcome to the family!
