Well, my CW9 acquired a big brother this morning. Stopped by the LGS, and among all the new arrivals was a nice new CW45! The CW9 has been flawless, and a joy to shoot and carry... didn't take me long to close the deal on the 45.
Spent the morning cleaning and checking it out. I'll head to the range tomorrow morning - hopefully it will prove to be as reliable as my CW9. Range report to follow...

I have no doubt. The CW45 is a great gun.
We'll await on pins and needles for your she's a keeper range report.

Just got in from the range, and she is definitely a keeper. I'll work on a full report after I get everything cleaned and put away, but the short version is that everything worked just as it should. :)

I do soooo love it when that happens. Kind of brings a tear to my eyes but it might be pepper spray too?

Congrats... How is recoil compared to the 9mm?

I'm not a great judge of recoil. I shot IHMSA matches for years, and I'm kind of insensitive to recoil on normal handgun calibers. I guess the old standard description, the 9 is more of a snap while the .45 is a slower push applies.
