Required minor fitting but they look great!

Those look real nice. Was the fitting around the lower grip screw. A bit of wood having to be removed?
Also did your original screws work for length or did you have to order special ones for the wood.

I just did a makeover on a set for nimbadew (not sure I spelled that right), did a little relief for the mag release button and the slide lock and checkered them.

Still trying to figure these things out, his was a GC serial but the grips interchanged with my GA serial just fine. We were hoping that his was the new different style and since he's relatively local I could borrow it to whittle out some grips that fit now and then but alas, nothing gained.

yeah I'm curious about the fit too. This is the first report that I've seen where a K model needed adjustment. It's the GCxxxx MK models that need the help at the lower grip screw tab...

...details appreciated.

There's a seam based on the grain of the wood. You been looking at puppies too long, Jocko.:)

Initially the lower screws poked short and I took a few swipes in the hole with a screwdriver. When I attached the lower screw then the upper screw and alternated tightening each they went all the way in. No screws ordered. They are beautiful and feel great carrying. The actual fit to the gun was perfect with no warping. Really happy with them!

That makes sense. Been my experience (2x) that the standard screws work...just need help seating. I actually ordered the special wood screws and they were the same as the original.

Enjoy.

Yep.... Kahr.com! I wore the K9 today with untucked tshirt and shorts (as usual) and the shirt draped better, though the black grips generally work fine too. I really like the wood grips
