Ok I had asked before about reloads. Now I'll ask about this...What kind of other stuff do you carry? I mean things like a multi-tool, pocket knife, flashlight, etc. I'll be the first one to tell you I carry a lot of junk, of course I also don't vary my dress much between summer and winter (shorts in summer just ain't gonna happen, between the chicken legs that glow and the fact that I wear a uniform to work, just not gonna happen).

Pistol, Wallet, Keys, Cell Phone, Spare Mag.
Thats my motto & check before I leave my house.
Occasionally I might have a pocket knife too, but I keep a leatherman, flashlight, and various pocket knives, at work, as well as in my vehicles. So I dont usually worry about having one with me everyday.

I always carry a spare mag and that's it. I hate having things jingle around in my pockets.

I guess one benefit or good thing if theres any good thing about being a derelict in a wheel chair is the amount of stuff I can carry with me. I sometimes feel like a Snap On Tool box.
Without emptying out all my hiding spots and just relying on memory heres what I can recall having with me nearly always. Guess I'll work from the top.
I have a Cold Steel knife on a string around my neck, mostly for general purposes, pant pockets are useless and stuff always falls out when sitting so nothing in my pockets. Knife around the neck is just handy. On my belt is usually 2 spare mags and my Para, also a phone, and a folder knife clipped onto the pant waist band. I have a Leatherman in a pouch attached to the chair. In my back pack attached to the chair is a Surefire flashlight in an outside pocket that I can reach quickly, 6 spare batteries and a spare bulb, a knife sharpener, an oiler pen, an extendable magnet (like a car antena). Handcuffs, a kuboton, extra cuff keys, 2 AA batteries, a small roll of electrical tape, reading glasses, a small tool set with allen head and few sockets, matches, small roll of TP in baggie for fire tender or when some engineer puts the dispenser 12 ft from the throne in a public building, (been there),gloves for long trips in the chair, spare mag for K40. Moving to the front pouch, basically everything real men carry in their pockets wallet, Checkbook, keys, pens, etc. Moving down we come to the K40 in the ankle holster, this is usually always there even or especially when the belt gun sets on the dresser.
Makes me wonder why I invest in a super light titanium chair and then load it down with me and a 100 pounds of junk. Going to an airport is a nightmare! I lost a K40 mag awhile back, couldn't find it anywhere, got 2 new ones, very next day found the missing one in my back pack. Somehow got into the wrong pocket. Derelicts r us! I think I'm gonna throw half this junk out when I get home tonight.

That reminds me of one of the scenes in an Alien movie. The little guy in the wheelchair starts to pull things off his chair and turns them into some sort of gun.

Ok, I wasnt gonna mention this but in a younger scarier time I had prototype working 20 ga shotgun armrest. The armrest can be lifted slightly and then turned or swiveled. Windage wasn't an issue, elevation was left on the drawing board. The tubes, well I'm not going into details. The downfall to this experiment in addition to common sense and a healthy dose of reality was lack of a good bomb proof safe trigger system. It was so primitive that often times a good jolt would let the spring fly and really bad things could happen. I still have nightmares of sitting in a movie theatre and coughing and blowing the head off someone in front of me. Just a nightmare, not reality. Wasn't me, I wasn't even there that day.........................
No animals or derelicts were injured in the course of this experiment, some old armrest were highly inconveinensed (crap somebody spell that for me) but no doubt melted down and reused as a manhole cover by now.

I'm bad...can't stand anything "extra". I carry a wallet(if possible, I cut to my cards/cash) and my keys. I don't even tolerate jewlery on my person.

I prefer clothes, keys, wallet, phone, gun, spare mag, and other spare mag. All in that order. Thinking of adding some type of tiny flashlight, maybe just a keychain light.

Gun, spare 7-round mag using TK mag holder in pocket or on belt, "master" van & gas cap keys & remote in leather pouch, "valet" key, tiny Swiss Army Knife(like Classic, but no scissors, I like a bottle opener/can opener), CHAPSTICK, wallet, and if must remove gun at some point -- Gerber FastOpen 3" partial serrated blade.
If carrying PM45, also wearing suspenders under shirt, supporting belt, not shorts.
Also glasses, comb, paper towel, and 3 or so Scotties tissues inside folded 3x5" index card... and a pen.
That's about it. Some cash and ID, CC Permit, and beaucoup cartes de crédit.
Of course I'm wearing shorts and a polo shirt, most of the year.

Surefire Backup, Streamlight Key Mate, Swiss Army Rambler, Benchmade or Emerson folding knife. This is in addition to a sidearm w/ spare ammo, a backup with spare ammo, wallet, cell phone, PDA and keys.
Yes, it's a lot of stuff. No, I'm not Batman.

After reading Bawanna's post I don't feel so much like a junkyard, with my multi-tool (it has the bit driver set up) when at work I have 6" cresent wrench as well. I also carry a lockblade knife, a non-locking blade knife, a mini mag-lite, pocket knife sharpener, two pens. I also have two reloads, a spare set of keys (forever locking mine in the truck). Attached to the spare keys is a magnesium fire starter with a striker wrapped in 550 cord. this is in addition to my cell phone, wallet, watch, and primary set of keys. If I'm at work then I usually have some more junk still on me (I work building maint.), usually my work keys, another pen, radio, and usually the company phone as well. If I'm at work then the pistol and reloads stay well hidden in the truck. I have had to use all of that junk at some point in the past, like when I've had to come walking home (Bosnia) a couple of times, (some when I was stupid and mis-read a mud hole).

in the field, there's normally "work tools" stuffed in as well.
On weekends or time away from field work, the j-frame usually stays home and one of the other of my current "favorite four" accompany's me:):

Jocko, I usually end up making a bush shelter if I need a shelter, or I would use the vehicle that I submarined/broke. I learned the hard way to have a plan and a back up. Mr Surveyor, when I worked for the city of Dall-ass, I carried the same dog snake kind of load for both my 357, and my 1911. Only had to use it once on a Rottweiler that came through a fence at me. Seeing that brings back memories. Do you alternate that dog/snake load or is it all three then the snake load?

They sometimes call me Frank Buck, bring em back alive!
I don't recall ever using my handcuffs myself except when I was chaperoning on a elementary school age field trip. 2 little hoodlums kept escaping and causing issues so I hooked em together to slow em down and to be able to find them both at the same time.
They made me take em off when we went on a ferry boat ride, guess they figured if I tossed em over the side I'd have to do each separately.
I have used my cuffs numerous times when I handed them to an officer trying to hook up a bad guy who didn't want to play. Hasn't happened in a long time now, maybe I should toss those out too. Or maybe send them to Dietrich, might come in handy.

Oh, on that shotgun/armrest thingy... How bout dual tazers w/ red dot aiming devices... probly wouldn't make you roll backwards or in a circle like shotgun would... I'm just sayin

I could design and build one of those that works real well (the shot gun arm rest thing). I have built a 12ga set of crutches before, but that was back in my wilder days. I also had a 22 zippo that I built, got rid of it years ago, then go to a gun show and see my proof mark on the silly thing. I left it there.

Well I am a fan of always being prepared so I carry my XD40 sub comp (10+1) or the P380 with an extra mag, an Emerson mini CQC-7 (awesome knife), a swiss army knife that i've had practically since birth, my wallet with ID, sometimes a Surefire "Backup" light. And when I have the baby I don't go anywhere without a passifer!
