I have now put 400 rounds thru my P380 and find similar trigger bar wear as starkreiten noted in this thread. I cannot detect any wear on the slide.

So I understand this design, please tell me if I am correct ?

1. the trigger bar is primarily held in place by the small side panel for interface with the cocking cam ?

2. it appears the slide also puts some pressure against the top of the trigger bar, helping to hold it in place, evidenced by the wear ? is this part of the design ?

I am thinking of smoothing any sharp edges on the slide and try to smooth the worn area on the trigger bar. Coat the trigger bar top end with a black sharpie and see if there is still wear. Any comments on this idea - pro or con ?

Hey there. Here's my Opinion:
#1. Yep, that's right

#2. I wouldn't worry about any wear. It's going to "break in" and smooth out really well.

I didn't catch if your's is shooting OK or not.

hope this helps.

It has been flawless, not a single issue. I have a PM9 that was the same, not an issue, now over 600 rounds.

That's good to hear. I would say you're in good shape.

Today I spke with Ian at Kahr. He told me they have never had a trigger bar fail in the area where I am getting the wear. He said keep it lubed and keep on shooting.

OK !
