I have now put 400 rounds thru my P380 and find similar trigger bar wear as starkreiten noted in this thread. I cannot detect any wear on the slide.

So I understand this design, please tell me if I am correct ?
1. the trigger bar is primarily held in place by the small side panel for interface with the cocking cam ?
2. it appears the slide also puts some pressure against the top of the trigger bar, helping to hold it in place, evidenced by the wear ? is this part of the design ?
I am thinking of smoothing any sharp edges on the slide and try to smooth the worn area on the trigger bar. Coat the trigger bar top end with a black sharpie and see if there is still wear. Any comments on this idea - pro or con ?
