The number of coils for the Wolff springs should be 11 1/2. I didn't notice the typo. I edited all but photo #1... too small.

Wow, Wyn those look way more skookum! I'm sure they'll shorten up a bit after being in there for a spell but the length is substantial. Put those things together and see if they work. I think your definitely onto something. Maybe we've finally found something good related to Kel Tec?

in my P380 and would not have any other type. Those springs are awesome, ihave no more issues loading 6 rounds with those 10% more strength than the factory stock springs but they sure in hell solved my issues. I think i event old wyn they are about 1.5 more coils, more than factory.
I wish they made 10% moreint he PM9 sprigns to buyt right now wolffs makes 5% and I hav ethem in my PM9 magazines and it has never failed to lock open on time. I am not sure it will solve the problem that wyn was having either and I told him that up front, but I thought it was worht a try. We will hav eto wait and see how he does ...

Why wouldn't Kahr change the specs on their magazine springs if they do work on common problems, and make performance better, that some of the PM and P380 have. I'm interested to hear if Wynn's issues get resolved now.

I bought enough +5% springs for all of my 9mm Kahr magazines -- K9 and PM9. I'll have to wait for PM45 springs... not available, yet.
Both S&B .380 FMJ shipments are in town. I should get them tomorrow and get to the range Thursday, unless Wifey is gone shopping and I get a chance, should the ammo come in early. UPS usually comes mid to late afternoon, though. I'll wait on modifying the magazine catch until after testing these springs.

I brought this up before and I know Jocko did also. If those Kel Tec springs really are an improvement and I think they almost have to be. Wolff would be wise to relabel them as they are and call them PM380 enhanced springs or tactical Pm380 springs and charge 20 % more for the tactical word.
I agree with you hsart, I hope Kahr reads some of our conversations and takes notes of things that go on in the outside world and make these improvements before the get sent out. Good for them, good for us. It's no loser proposition the way I gander at it.

Good points... does anyone know if there are Wolf springs compatible with the PM45?

Wyn - What issue were you having and did these springs "fix" that issue?

I was having "random slide locks" with ammo left. It took a trip to the factory to fix that and it's fine now, but the KelTec springs didn't seem to help.
I think they just replaced the slide stop spring and polished the slide lock.
Today I fired 6 Ranger Talons with the P380 after firing over 300 rounds... half in each of my PM45 and K9.
I hadn't planned on shooting that, but I had shot all of the ammo I took with me.

Gotcha.
Were the Rangers giving you issues before?

No. The Rangers have been great, but when I was having problems with the slide locking back before the magazine was empty, that was with all ammo.... It works fine now and that ammo has always been easy shooting because it doesn't kick as much as some.
