Another 1911 Gun Story

For all that know me and from my previous posts I have a old friend I do some gun work from time to time I did his Walther PP 380 if you remember. I do believe I have him on a 45 craze, just talking I said I thought it was one of the best rounds ever. From that I get a call he said he just got a XDS wanted me to clean it up and do alittle polishing on it. That was about two weeks ago. Over the past weekend I got another call said he just got a 1911 but he wasn’t getting till midweek, well he got it today and let me tell you it was eye candy KIMBER RAPTOR II. Now I have this in my shop to give a good once over and clean and maybe alitte of my magic excuse me I think I’m drooling but not on that beautiful 1911. So here it is I my hot hands for a few days, the waiter said Guns are served enjoy is there anything else you need no I have had enough for today thank you

Have to admit I'm not a big fan of 1911's that look more like pimped out 2011's than a 1911's. To each there own, and if the owners happy that's all that really matters. JM.02

I prefer a deeper shade of blue, but I could learn to live with this. :)

Thanks for posting this. A lot of Kimbers get unnecessary bad press on some forums. I have and often carry on the job a Ultra CDP II. It is an amazing firearm that is very well made and totally reliable.
