I'm going through one of those mini crisis periods where I hate all my guns and want all new ones. I did get one new one, for the pocket - a Sig P238. And I still wonder if I'd be happier with an MK9. But I keep thinking all my others suck.
My 1911s are too big and heavy. My K9 is hard to shoot with precision. My Bersa 9HC is too big. I almost decided my Bersa 45 felt better in the hand than the Citadel, after thinking it was redundant. Then I grabbed and dry fired the Citadel and changed my mind. Then I decided all my babies are great weapons. DA, DA/SA, SA, they all have advantages. I like heavy metal guns, except for carry. Then I like alloy :)
So I guess any new acquisitions will be just for fun.

Looks like nice sights, but my issue is the looooooooong trigger pull with no tactile feedback. Yes, I love the smoothness and nice break, but I'm trying to overcome the tendency to push to the side. I'm getting better, just not ready to use it when I appear on Top Shot yet. :p

I have never hated all my guns.
Become disenchanted with some (less than 100% reliable).
And some have become proverbial safe queens.
But I constantly seem to want more, more, more.
I've bought seven handguns in the last 11 months.
And I still want more...

Congrats on the Sig.
Assuming competence with 1911 pattern SAs, the Sig P238 is the best small .380 in existence. Period.
If not competent with them kinda guns it's still the best damn small .380 out there, but I'd advise against getting one.

Thanks. It takes some getting used to its tiny size, gotta use a special mouse-grip, but it's worth it!

Get a M&Pc. I rather have the Kahr pistols over the shield. Get a apex trigger job and move on. Crisp clean and functional.

Haha, I just sold off three different guns to. Some of my guns I bought to flip and others I bought and then just didn't really care for like my SKS and .45 carbine. Then some of them I will never get rid of like my 1911!

I've read through this whole thread and I'm not sure I understand it completely, so I'll just say this ...
I cannot speak to other guns as I only own Kahrs ... but one of them is an MK9, and I love it. I think my problem is I found the perfect gun way too early in my gun-owning career, though admittedly late in life.

If I could just find an MK9 to hold and compare, I'd know more. I held one once and was transfixed by its jewel-like beauty, delightful trigger, and sexy size.

A KahrTalk senior named John,
Wanted a gun for now & beyond.
With many to hold,
Only one fit the mold,
An MK9 could be his swansong.
