So after trying the suggestion of (I forget, someone fill in the blank) I used some Loctite 609 to cure the wobble. Did a good job. I applied it twice. It wicked into the area under the front sight and the area of the front tube, and that sight is solid as a rock now.
I went shooting today. The MAIN thing I wanted to add is this:
The Trijicon Nite Sights are WELL WORTH THE MONEY.
Not so much for night shooting - the sight picture is just so much better than the factory sights. I mean, WAY BETTER. Especially for a 64 year old who wears bifocals.
The first shot was dead center. The next two missed the paper! Then I realized I was anticipating the trigger break (that damn looooooong trigger) and concentrated. I put the next 30 rounds in the 10 ring.
The sights REALLY made a difference. I had Mepro Lights on my other guns. They were worn out, so I changed to Trijicon on the two Glocks. What a huge difference! The dots are so much sharper and easier to line up.
Everyone has their own preference. I go with the Trijicons. But on the CM series, what a huge difference! Well worth the money, I was able to do it with the $59 sight pusher (NOT EASY, but did get it done). Make sure to also buy a can of loctite 609 and flow it in, that will cure the wobble.
