My Gun...Pathetic!

My Gun

Today I swung my front door wide open and placed my Remington 870 right in the doorway. I left 6 shells beside it, then left it alone and went about my business.


While I was gone, the mailman delivered my mail, the neighbor boy across the street mowed the yard, a girl walked her dog down the street, and

quite a few cars stopped at the stop sign near the front of our house.

After about an hour, I checked on the gun. It was still sitting there, right where I had left it. It hadn't moved itself outside. It certainly hadn't killed anyone, even with the numerous opportunities it had been presented to do so.

In fact, it hadn't even loaded itself. Well you can imagine my surprise, with all the media hype about how dangerous guns are and how they kill people.

Either the media is wrong
or I'm in possession of
the laziest gun in the world.



Well, I'm off to check on my spoons. I hear they're making people fat.

I actually believe mine is lazier than yours. To save mine time I loaded it. It still just sat there. Thought it might be because it is a Kahr. But your Remington did the same thing. If this keeps up I am going to stop believing in Nanny Bloomerbug and the media hype. Who can you trust anymore?

Guns don't kill; however, irresponsible gun ownership certainly could contribute to it and be rewarded with potential jail time or lawsuits. All of my firearms are locked up...I get the gist of the post but this sends the wrong message...

You gotta admit the point made, that the gun by itself didn't hurt anybody and everyone ignored it, verses the impression the Gun hating media portrays them...

Oh... we absolutely are on the same page and I completely agree with you. In Colorado we are taking the fight in preserving the Second Amendment rights! Two state senators are being recalled next month God willing. Magpul is right across town too. Heck, I am even opening a gun store soon (libertyffl).

We at The NJ2ASociety, have been fighting our lunatic liberal legislatures.. We recently won a major battle, but they never stop! We need to fight them everyday, in every way! We have this Newark,NJ State assmbly woman Shirley Oliver, that has record amount of gang shootings and she wants to outlaw all guns, (P!ss on the constitution) so the gangs won't have any!!!! Somebody told her they'll go back to chucking spears, she said "GOOD!"
I think the folks of Colorado had enough of these tree huggers and the people have risen at last!

My Daughter went to school out there and got a ticket for tossing a cigarette butt. $75! It's big brother outta control.

Thanks! With 56 out of 62 sheriffs filing a major lawsuit against the Governor to repeal the recently passed gun laws and the senators recall election (first time in state history) September 15th we are well on our way. I CC as do many of my friends and it's the best feeling knowing that I am allowed to protect myself and others here...
