I actually forgot that I had ordered 2,000 180gr FMJ's from Precision Delta in January. Much to my surprise, the bullets that arrived today - 8 months later...Horray! Forgot all about them being on order. Sitting pretty again (for a little while).

I was lucky for once and ordered a pile of 45's right before the panic. They shipped almost immediately. I'm still being very conservative in my shooting but I got a bunch in reserve. 4000 or so.
Fairly good shape on primers and powder too.

I hear ya Bawanna. Up to the start of the panic, Precision Delta shipped fast. They have a good product. Now my count on hand and ready to load is approx. : 5500 bullets; 11 lbs powder; 8000 primers; 3000 brass. Not to mention what I have loaded and ready for competition. It does not seem like all that much considering the shooting I do. It is good to keep the inventory up to where you can have some fun in the shooting sports and reloading hobby. On the other hand my SD round count is not all that high, but they are kept where they should be and God willing they will stay right where they are.

I haven't tapped into my PD order from earlier, I'm getting ready to re-order again. Just as soon as the new CC comes in. The current one expires in 10/13 way way before PD will ship.

I think I'm going to need to get an order in for a couple thousand of Mr. Donnie's 230 gr Bayou Bullets. I've found out the XDs really likes them with a 10 gr load of AA#7. Which also means a return to the local search for a couple pounds of AA#7.
I could also use another couple thousand of the B/B 158 gr swc's, and the 138 gr wad cutters, and maybe 240 gr swc's, and another pound or three of 2400 and AA#9, and another couple thousand small pistol primers, and .......

Anyone know what Precision Delta's new delivery schedule is like now? They were 8 months out in Jan. It turned out, they were right on the money with that schedule. Wondering what things are like now? Thanks.

Mr Surveyor, If my wife read your reply, she'd say, "hey Gary, here's a guy who is just like you...." (never quite satisfied).... haha. Good for you. :)
