While Manning disclosed a vast amount of information, "I don't' think you could call Bradley Manning a spy," he said.
I agree with this statement 100%!!! He isn't a spy, he is a traitor to this country, plain and simple.

As far as I'm concerned 35 years in prison isn't enough. He should have been given the death penalty. Let no one say that muggsy is soft on crime. Particularly high crime.

He deserves the time he was sentenced to and more but what I want to know is what idiot put a young mental case like Private Bradley "Chelsea" Manning in the super sensitive position where he was able to do such a thing in the first place, same with Snowden, did they do ANY backround checks on these two morons before giving them the keys to all that secret information????

Background checks for a secret clearance is "basic". Looks at your background and financials along with character. Top secret digs deeper in that your kindergarten teacher will be interviewed, along with many more people. There is yet a higher level and I'm not sure what all that one involves but I'm fairly certain body cavity searches for anyone you have ever known or met is a requirement.
Or not. IDK

I have a sneaking suspicion that "Chelsea" Manning is going to get his wish and will shortly become a "woman", and that the change will occur without the time and discomfort of a costly operation.

One could only hope.
Of course the ACLU will probably sue to make the taxpayers pay for his "change".

our government: look at our leaders. is there that much difference. Hell ovomit cross dresses. We also have a very arogant government here to. When we let our government snoop into our private lives, for no reason other than to find sh!t to pursue one, then throw away our constitution. for it is not worth te paper our for fathers wrote it on.:amflag:

Is it just me, or is it a bit unfair and unjust that the one sharing the government's documents gets hammered, but the ones who are shown to be deep into illegal activities by those documents get to walk free? Don't mind my crazy ramblings.
