I have found that my CW9 is shooting low and to the right when I dot the i on the sights as suggested in manual. But I get more accuracy when I raise the dot higher than manual suggests.

Is this a sight problem or is this a shooter grip angle issue?

well that takes some of the wind out of my sails. The usual response to a post like yours is to work on your trigger control. The long Kahr trigger tends to make new shooters shoot low and left (if right handed) or low and right (if left handed). Still could be the case though. There are plenty of threads addressing this. You can try different trigger finger placement, have another shooter shoot it, shoot with a rest or vise, have someone load a snap cap in your magazine, etc. Those might help identify the problem. But other than drifting the rear sight, there's no fix. The rest will need to be shooter alignment/adjustment/practice...

Let's see what those smarter than I have to say. Good luck!

Are you able to call your shots? Meaning you know the sight picture as the shot goes off. Shooting bench rested like suggested above would be a big help.

I find that this is true with my MK9, and also with another firearm of mine..................everyone holds their firearm a bit different than someone else. We all know that just a hair difference is sometimes equated to feet. Raise it up a tad higher, and shoot it like you own it............oh, that's right, you do. I have sand bag shot, and I too, got the best results having the front sight a hair higher. Trigger pull will also bring it down.
