Started raining this morning so that pretty much killed anything I wanted to do outside. Remembered over a cup of Joe that my range membership was up so I decided to go to the range and pay up for another year. Figured what the hell might as well take some guns along.:D Decided to take the Ruger SR1911 as I'm still breaking that in, and my all time favorite 9mm pistol the CZ Po-1. Only had 50 rounds of 45 caliber acp. so I shot them off and am happy to report with the Ruger, Chip Mc Cormick, and Wilson Combat mags I had no issues this time out, so the SR1911 is looking more like a keeper all the time
The CZPo-1 was it's usual 100% reliable self. I shot 100 + round through it. I swear that pistol could shoot a ham sandwich if you just added a little gun powder to it. Friekin thing eats anything. I even traded a guy at the range one time for some of my brass ammo for some of his steel cased ammo just to see if it would shoot it. It shot those steel cased rounds off like it was top quality ammo. It really is an amazing pistol with the way it fits your hand. I shoot that pistol better than any pistol I've ever owned, including my 1911's. All things considered for a rainy day I had a pretty good time, and I'm extremely pleased to see the SR1911 is coming along, as I really want to like that pistol.
