Started raining this morning so that pretty much killed anything I wanted to do outside. Remembered over a cup of Joe that my range membership was up so I decided to go to the range and pay up for another year. Figured what the hell might as well take some guns along.:D Decided to take the Ruger SR1911 as I'm still breaking that in, and my all time favorite 9mm pistol the CZ Po-1. Only had 50 rounds of 45 caliber acp. so I shot them off and am happy to report with the Ruger, Chip Mc Cormick, and Wilson Combat mags I had no issues this time out, so the SR1911 is looking more like a keeper all the time
The CZPo-1 was it's usual 100% reliable self. I shot 100 + round through it. I swear that pistol could shoot a ham sandwich if you just added a little gun powder to it. Friekin thing eats anything. I even traded a guy at the range one time for some of my brass ammo for some of his steel cased ammo just to see if it would shoot it. It shot those steel cased rounds off like it was top quality ammo. It really is an amazing pistol with the way it fits your hand. I shoot that pistol better than any pistol I've ever owned, including my 1911's. All things considered for a rainy day I had a pretty good time, and I'm extremely pleased to see the SR1911 is coming along, as I really want to like that pistol.

Too bad or good for the rain! (was sunny here until 1pm)
My Sig 229 does the same thing in as much as hoot anything you feed it.
I was given some misfired .40 and that little basturd shot every one of them; the guy that gave me the ammo put his gun up for sale that day!

I have some reliable guns.
But for some reason I trust my .45 ACP pistols the most.
Sig Sauer P220, HK45C and HK USP Tactical have thousands of rounds through them.
And from the first round have never ever FTF, FTE or return to battery.

I must admit that once broke in,
my Kahr MK40 Elite has been flawless as well.

It's a good feeling when you have zer malfunctions. Makes you wan't to grab your gun and hug it for being so good. My Kahr CW9 has about 650 rounds through it and I haven't had a single malfunction of any kind. It proves its self everyday.

Glad to hear your sr1911 isn't acting up, makes me wan't one more.

Yea the SR1911 I bought slightly used is definitely coming around. I could not be happier to see this, as I was a little concerned about it for a bit.
Like Barth and I'm sure many others, I've owned quite a few 100% reliable pistols, including my Kahr PM9, XD9SC,XDS9, G26, RIA 1911, S&W 4013, and CZ75B. But for some reason,Of all the pistols I've ever owned, The CZPO-1 is the pistol I have the most confidence in to perform 100% when needed. It's just built and feels Soooo Right that even NATO approved it.:D
