My sole SIG at the moment is a P6, but while it might not be everybody's cup of tea, I wouldn't mind having a Siegfried in my safe (maybe even a Scorpion or Tomahawk):

If gold accent is more to your taste;

They even make a barbecue gun for the "fish fry" crowd:

Dayum! Where do you come up with this stuff?

I want a Tomahawk. The one with the gold in it is sweet too.

The fish didn't sing to me. I like fish, I like to fish but it didn't sing.

I love my classic stamped steel slide, factory nickel plated, Sig P220 45.
It's a keeper for sure.
I did add professional trigger job, SRT kit
and a 5.10" extended dual ported black Isonite QPQ on stainless Storm Lake barrel to mine though.

it just wouldn't be right to carry one of those unless you also wore one of them tur bines on your head.... actually reminds me of old saddam's guns

Saddam carried a Browning.

For twenty years, SIGS were my favorite pistols. Then I switched to HK. I had a P6 but it was one of the guns that was stolen and I never replaced it. I did replace the 1911 C3, and in fact, it was the only gun I replaced with the same model. Also, I still have my nickel 1995 P220 which I will always keep.

Saddam had a Glock Model 18 on him when he was captured.

Much to ornate for my taste, but I can appreciate the work that went into them. You have to understand that my favorite flavor is vanilla. I guess that's why I'm a CM man.

I agree, my P220 sas .45 is close enough for my tastes...........nice firearms though.

Hmmm. I must be more of the country taste. I think just hanging one of the trucker mudflaps with lady on them might just dress it up more than enough for me. :)

Could be. In all the pictures I ever saw of him with a pistol is his holster or firing into the air to celebrate something, it was a High Power.

I don't want a pistol that is too fancy to shoot. Although I'd take one if someone gave me one, or got one heckuva deal on it.

Probably so, I know Kadafi or whoever the other one captured was into Hi Powers and plating and gold and fancy.

Probably Saddam too I imagine.

I love the first 2 links. They are beauties. Real works of art.

I've owned a P6. Fine gun. Wish I still owned it.

I do agree with the appeal to and quality of Sig firearms ... some of the very best made firearms on the planet. I sold a DA/SA P239 .40 cal three years ago to finance my first Kahr (CW9). If my 239 had been 9mm (or more preferably .45 acp - which don't exist in the 239), I probably would have kept it and been totally happy. I just never had the love for the "fotay". I did toy with the idea of an aftermarket 9 mm barrel for the 239 but another consideration was going all DA at the time so as to simplify life.

I was looking at a Scorpion but decided on a MK9, I currently own 3 Sig 22's a 1911(a GSG), suppressed mosquito,and 522, a m400 enhanced,and a 556 carbine in 5.56 also 3 HK's a few Remington shotties My favorite is a VZ58,they are light ,accurate,unjamable and pure fun to shoot

I prefer .45 ACP too.
But my P239 is a factory 357 Sig.
And that gun is ever so sweet in that caliber.

A trigger job and SRT kit helped things out too...
