As the title says, I'm a new member but I've owned a P9 for 12 years. It is one of my 3 carry guns, one of which is always on me. It is my favorite carry piece, residing in a Wild Bill's belt slide OWB. I also have a Wild Bill's tuckable IWB, but the OWB is more comfortable to use. The other 2 carry pieces are a S&W 642, carried in a Mika pocket holster, and when all else doesn't work, a KelTec P32 also in a pocket holster. I have have a real love affair with the P9. It has always been a joy to shoot, very accurate and reliable, never a a failure of any kind.

About me: old guy, retired Army aviator, living in NC. Looking forward to being a member of this forum.:amflag:

Welcome. We have more things in common than N.C. natives, EDC CM9 in the pocket. Wild Bills holster IWB tuckable my for CW45, but it prints more than I would like. I also like my Kel-tec 32 when something tiny must do, and would rather have that than a pocket .380. Rarely anymore a RugerSP101 3" bbl.

Welcome aboard, TK. I guess you weren't in fixed-wing aircraft. I went down on a Saturday morning in 1964 to sign up for the helicopter pilot warrant officer program, but the Army recruiter's office was closed, so I went ahead and joined the Air Force. That's why I'm still alive, I guess!

I like the P9, too. It's 8 ounces lighter than my K9 and carries easily in my Crossbreed Minituck.

I graduated from high school in Fayetteville in 1964, but I haven't lived in NC since 1973. Where are you living now?

Welcome aboard. Love the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area! Some of the most beautiful scenery in the country IMO. Nearly moved there 16 years ago before I settled on FL.
