View Full Version : speaking of hot loads
I wanted to know if anyone has shot DRT Dynamic Research Technologies ammunition through a CW.45 and what was the outcome not that I really want this ammo but it is all my local dealer has and I purchased two boxes of it. However after reading online reviews about this ammo I have heard of numerous catastrophic failures due to the ammunition being overcharged. What is anyones experience with this.

I don't have any experience with DRT ammo, loki, but I suggest you put your fingers in your ears before pulling the trigger. Whenever I had doubts about a certain load I always had my kid brother test it for me. :)

one up on ya. I love my brothers,so I have Hose and Menendezdo my testing. that reminds me , I have not seen then since I gave some of my experimental loads to them. thanks for reminding me muggs, its easy to forget about illegals. Just sayin. although Hose" wasone heh of a motorctycle detailer. Menendez just use dot sit on the chair and watch Hose and play with him self.

I shot a hot load of DRT (always wanted to say that...) out of my Bersa 9UC. It was nothing special, couldn't tell any difference in recoil. Not sure why it would be "overcharged." The projectile weight is very light. The box didn't say +P or anything.

A couple of years ago, I bought a several of boxes of DRT 380 ammo and experienced multiple failures to fire. The primers were hit, but the bullet did not fire. I've avoided that brand ever since.
thanks I don't know about this one even now all the responses are I haven't shot it or it was nothing special or wouldn't go off. I think I am going to just give this box away once I buy too more boxes of corbon. In my opinion corbon makes the best ammo for my firearm. The wait time is just so long when ordering direct 1-2 months sometime
