Well, after this morning's range trip I can say that I am completely ready to start carrying the CW45. Fired 50 rounds of WWB 230gr FMJ and 50 rounds of Federal 230gr Hydra-Shok. That brings the total round count to a little over 300 with absolutely no malfunctions of any kind. Everything is smoothing out nicely, and I actually enjoy shooting this thing even more than my beloved CW9!
Fired a few rounds through my Ruger LCP while I was there, just to make sure I still could - all I can say is I will sure be happy when the CW380 finally hits the market. :)

Glad to hear it. A CW45 is my regular carry too. Your experience mimics mine with about 1200 rounds through two CW45's. I still think the CW series is one of Kahr's most reliable, although I've had the same experience with PM's and an MK, also.

Congrats, I've put about 450 through mine and realized it didn't like pmc jhp. The ftf kept me from carrying it confidently, but testing other ammo it has been flawless.

Would be interested in a comparison of normal ammo vs. +P ammo in double &/or triple taps.

Can't help you there. I've never felt the need to use +P in a .45. I like the big slow moving bullets. :)
