Well give her our regards, she is beautiful. I wouldn't mention the fact that you told us when that day occurred though. As a nice gift, you really could do worse than to bring her into the shooting fold if she is not already. If nothing else, that is the greatest gift that anyone can be given: independence and self reliance. If she is part of the fold, a shiny new Kahr would be appropriate...

Beautiful, absolutely without question. I'll leave judgement to xaircav on the bringing her into the fold deal. All that lovely red hair?? In my lifes travels that quite often indicates an extremely short fused alpha female type. Nothing against those with lovely red locks but just a cautionary word of warning. If it applies you already know and I'm for sure preaching to the choir. Looks like a shooter to me anyhow but I could be wrong.
Do pass her a very big Happy Birthday from Bawanna and a big wet smoochy kiss right on the smackers. I'm sure she'll be wondering for days why a kiss and WTF is a Bawanna.

What's wrong with bringing a woman, especially a very pretty one into the shooting fold? My wife while short and round is entering it. It does my little black heart proud to see women on the range.

I love bringing woman into the shooting fold. I've brought many, I'll bring many more. Not near enough and probably never will be. It's the red hair that scares me. Sometimes hot tempers and guns just aren't a good mix. This may not apply in this case hence my leaving that judgement up to xaircav. He will know. Make no mistake, I love red hair, I love black hair, blonde, brown. It's all good.

Bawanna, I have many relations with red hair like that. I worry less about them and more about letting my mother find one when she gets upset. I could tell stories... My mom is freakin nuts, and not just from raising me.

Truly a lovely woman.Give her a big happy birthday from all of us.You are a lucky man indeed but then again she is a lucky woman. Not every man would think to send birthday greetings on a fun forum such as this one. What did you get her for her special day?

hhhmmmmm.... If I post something similar for my wife of 37 years next month for her birthday, does it mean I don't have to buy her anything?:D

That might be risky. I do think we should come up with a gift idea for wives area here. Hard to think up stuff after so long. Done bought em everything we can afford. Have to get creative.
Mine likes jewelry and stuff but if I get her jewelry then she wants to go out so she can wear it and I hate going out. Kind of a double edged sword.
Hey, does your wife have a sword? I withdraw that, probably a bad idea.

if I bought my wife a super high quality hammer forged, guilded sword, she would stick it in the back of a closet and get out one of the same old, worn out, loose handled steak knives we got as wedding presents in January of 1973. We have a drawer full of sharp things, and she will still pull out one of the worn out, butter knife dull, 1973 steak knives no matter what she's trying to cut. So, I don't have to worry about incision type cuts....but, more like contusions and abrasions from the dull, ragged serrations from her knife. I may need to get a Tetanus booster

My wife is REAL cautious around my sharp objects. She hates for me to do up a blade when I get mad because its dull. She doesn't even handle my live bladed Katana. But on the flip side, I can get her guns and gun stuff, when we can afford it.
