Took my 19 year old daughter shooting today and we had a great time. She's gotten pretty good with the Walther .22 and she's getting there with the Sig P-238 (very sweet pocket pistol, btw but I prefer DAO), and she had fun shooting the Ruger mini-14. But in addition to having some bonding time I'm just ecstatic with my CW-45 (which my 110 lb. daughter understandably wants no part of). After about 250 rounds it just gets smoother and smoother and I'm getting pretty accurate with it. I'm comfortable enough with it for it to be my EDC gun. Folks on this site said it would be this way but I had some doubts the first couple of sessions with it. But you guys were right. I love that weapon. Thanks for all the insight.

oh yeah, good report. It gets better and better. It has with mine.

Try this next time. place 2 paper plates side by side on a piece of cardboard, with one plate overlapping and covering half of the other one. Put it out at about 7 yards and shoot at the half plate sticking out from behind the one on top (like bad guy hiding in the back, good guy in the front.)

You'll be amazed that after time you can keep all shots on the half plate sticking out with no holes on the cardboard or the whole "good guy" plate in the front. It's a real confidence builder and builds focus.

I love my CW45. I carry it all the time. Although I forgot it this morning when we went to lunch with the family and thought about it on the road and we were too far away from the house to go back and get it. I felt strange not having ti with me. I Like shooting jlottmc's .45's and wouldn't carry the majority of them, but I love mine because it's smaller and not as bulky.

Kahr pistols are like fine wine. They get better with age if properly cared for.

Glad your cw45 is working good. It's good firepower in a relatively easy to shoot package. Am sure you will continue to enjoy it.

I'm definitely not that good with it yet (I always seem to get a flyer somewhere in the clip) but that sounds like a useful and fun exercise! I'll post the picture if I pull it off. Thanks!
