I wanting to cerakote my CM9. I need to totally disassemble it to have it done. I've been searching on youtube and on here with no luck. A link to one would be great.
Thanks

Do you need to disassemble the frame because you want to ceracote the trigger? Because if not, then all you need to full strip is the slide, which there's a thread for on here somewhere.

Yes.
I decided to go for it. I have it all a part and I'm trying to reassemble it. Like an idiot I didn't notice how the spring was sitting on the trigger.
I going to post another thread to ask for a picture. Once I get it reassembled I will make a how to video.

Dirty Harry, What color (s) you planning for that CM? Doing it yourself?

Black. I don't care for the two tone. I really hate the stainless look. I'm having it professional done. I'm getting the barrel, slide, slide stop and trigger done for $90.

Re-installing the trigger is not a lot of fun. It wasn't on my CW45 anyway. Not that hard but a lot has to be lined up at the same time to get it just right.

How rugged is that finish? The black finish on my PM40 wears like iron....very durable.

It is the toughest gun finish there is.
