Received a new lower for my PM45 from Kahr service this week. The upper has about 1300 rounds through it. Gun was bought new 8/09. Previously was having issues of failure to feed and casing being ejected to my forehead one in 20 rounds. Here are the results of my first range session with the new lower today - 100 rounds - 80 Blazer 230gr FMJ and 20 Federal 230gr JHP:

First 80 rounds of FMJ - one stovepipe round #6, otherwise flawless.
Next 20 rounds JHP - had one slide lockback.

All in all I am very pleased. I did not expect a nearly flawless session with a brand new lower. I am attaching my targets from today. The first 2 are 8-inch targets with FMJ at 5-7 yards. The third is a 5-inch by 9 inch oval with FMJ at 7 yards, and the last one is with the 20 rounds of Federal JHP at 5-7 yards.

I am over 60 with 2 bad hands and one bad wrist and eyesight that has seen better days... this is a real shooter for anyone. Modest recoil... very manageable. I can't find any reasons not to evry day carry this fantastic 45.

Very nice for a busted up old fogey...Just messing with you. The groupings definitely seem to get better over time. Look forward to you next report.

Funny, my son was looking over my shoulder and read your description, over 60, 2 bad hands, one bad wrist and poor eyesight. He said to me, deactivate his legs and you've found your missing twin brother after all these years! I told him I was a bit worn, but still had enough to give him a good arse whooping on any given day, even though he is 6 inches taller and 50 pounds heavier, with a longer reach and not in a wheelchair. I think I'll fight the milk man from 24 years ago and kill him!

Well it's like my old man used to tell me. I'll always whoop your arse, don't care if I have stand on a milk crate to do it. Then one of us got smart after the last time he tried that stunt, we agreed to shoot each other if it comes to that again. Since I shoot better and faster than he does I'm ok with that too. No time travel needed.
